Speaking of spiders...this morning when I went to my kitchen sink I saw just the black tips (less than a 1/4") of 4 legs moving and I'm assuming it was a spider trying to get out...I just turned the water on and hopefully it went down the sink. I wasn't in the mood to deal with a big spider just before leaving for work.

I’ve cut quite a bit of polystyrene and polycarbonate sheet, one trick is to do all cutting while the factory masking is still on the piece. If not, use wide masking tape in both sides, cutting through the tape. The masking helps keep the cut material from rebonding.
Slow speeds and fine tooth blades also help.

Many of us grew up in families that did the work themselves, plumbing, electric woodwork, maintenance on appliances....etc. And besides hiring is quite expensive and usually not necessary.

 

So the funny thing is drilling into plexi the metal drills are on a different angle..so I should buy a plexi drill bit...but then one day I'll go nuts trying to drill metal with it

 

The bradpoint forsner type bits work pretty good, I recently drilled 16 - 3/16” holes 1/2” from the edge of 1/4” plexiglass with no problems

 

About 3 days later, by then it's too late, and memory and self ass kick sets in !
