You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

So they're blaming a black man, but then decry racism!

The article only touches on what the problem might be as it mixes in racism comments or political assaults. This is nothing but a hit piece.

If you are speaking of the black mayor, who is at the end of a string of black, Democratic mayors, it is a pertinent observation.
Nothing more. And I don't write anything into that observation. Does he dwell on it? No, not to me. It comes in as an aside and is then left in the rear view mirror as the article continues.

On the other hand, the Left is literally consumed by race. If anyone is involved in racist implications, certainly Liberals are when speaking of the supposed brutality of white cops or when convenient, the Left leaning media speaks of "white" Hispanics.

Democrats blame "structural racism" for Jackson's inability to provide water to its citizens. Of course they do -- they have to blame somebody. I think it is highly relevant that Democrats have run the city for 70 years and that the mayor is black -- hard to blame racism then. If, and it's a big if for Leftists, you're trying to be objective.

NO. Just recognize it for what it is.
A failed ideology which punishes people for not meeting your lofty moral standards.
It brings nothing but unfairness to the system and unnecessary misery for all.
Capitalism has its own set of failures and issues which need to be addressed.
But it is a whole lot better than what's in second and third place...

So, then tell me exactly what the problem is? It's it infrastructure? It's it water quality? Exactly what is the problem?

But I do find it funny that they say that the Democrats can't get the people water, all while showing pictures of them being the people water...

Well that's nice.... But I didn't ask you what you thought about the article, I asked who do you think is responsible for the problems right now in Jackson, Mississippi?

Oh and FYI, it was and is the leftwing liberal media bringing up the topic of “systemic racism”. They seem to be using the race card as a cover up. You seem to be hung up on race as well. Why is that???

First off, identify what the problem actually is! The article is long on blame but short on identifying the base problem.

    1. Scotchlass
It is so much easier to believe that the problem is ongoing incompetence at the local and state, maybe even Federal level, than it is to blame "structural" racism. But many of the city and state leaders are black, so we can't blame incompetence there.
So why go to racism? Because that is what the liberal Left does.
You guys are consumed by race, and you see racism around every corner, at the base of every issue.

How about all of the "innocent" white people who've been killed by cops? You don't know their names because the cynical, Left-leaning media doesn't print their names or turn them into celebrities. That's because they aren't worth making into celebrities, they're the wrong color to you.

Structural racism. This is the Left's "flat earth" kult, this is your main "conspiracy theory."
And just as you accuse we vaxx "deniers," no amount of science or data will ever convince you otherwise.
Like I said above, the Left is obsessed with racism, consumed with the idea that America is a racist society and that white cops are racist.
Democrats were racists before the Civil War, they were racists before WW1 and following WW2, and they are racists today. Only now, they're just more media savvy -- the racism's still there for many of them, but they've just learned to hide it a little better.

Study Shows Black Cops Just as Likely to Kill Black Suspects as White Cops
...but a recent study conducted by a research team led by Rutgers University–Newark dean of the School of Public Affairs and Administration Charles Menifield concluded that “white officers do not kill black suspects at a higher rate compared with non-white officers.”

Fact Check: Police Do Kill More White People, but There’s More to the Story
CLAIM: CBS News says “Black Americans are more likely to die at the hands of law enforcement than White people.”
VERDICT: Unclear. One study suggests that there is no racial bias in police shootings. And there is more to the story.
The problem might be that black Americans encounter police more often. After all, Harvard economist Roland Fryer Jr. — who happens to be African American — found in 2016 that police are more likely to shoot white suspects than black suspects, if there is any racial bias in such shootings.

It turns out that a majority of Americans feel that Biden, the great uniter, now engages in dangerous rhetoric “designed to incite conflict amongst Americans. Who knew???

Newest Axios Poll Shatters Dem Narrative About Republicans
    Sarah Weaver Staff Writer
    September 12, 2022 9:46 AM ET

A new Axios-Ipsos poll released Monday challenged the Democrat narrative that Republicans are out of step with the rest of Americans when it comes to democratic norms. The poll surveyed a sample of 1,001 American adults and was conducted online between September 1 and 2, 2022. The poll has a credibility interval of plus or minus 3.8 percentage points.

Among all Americans surveyed, 35% believed Presidents should be able to remove judges whose decisions “go against the national interest.” Along party lines, 42% of Democrats agreed with this ideas against only 29% of Republicans.

Nearly a third of total Americans prefer strong unelected leaders to weak elected ones. This was a view held by 42% of Republicans and 31% of Democrats.

The percent of Republicans and Democrats who believed that the government should side with the majority over religious or ethnic minority rights was almost identical — 38% of Democrats and 39% of Republicans. (

The poll’s findings come more than a week after President Joe Biden gave a speech, which a number of prominent Democrats praised, saying that Republicans “represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic.” “They fan the flames of political violence,” Biden said.

A poll conducted shortly after Biden’s speech found that a majority of Americans thought Biden engaged in dangerous rhetoric “designed to incite conflict amongst Americans.”

    From the survey link above...
How the hell did this Daily Caller review get it so wrong?

Are they even reading the same survey? Interesting how these pieces l leave certain piece of information out of their analysis.

Except Biden gave his speech on September 1st, and it says the poll was conducted on the 1st and 2nd of September...

Arizona Democrat Mark Kelly Funds Campaign of Iowa’s Mike Franken, Now Accused of Sexual Misconduct

    JACOB BLISS20 Sep 2022Washington, DC

Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ), in a tough reelection battle against Republican Blake Masters, is one of the five Democrat lawmakers who have helped Mike Franken’s U.S. Senate campaign in Iowa.

The leadership PAC, Liftoff PAC, associated with Kelly, donated $2,500 to Iowa’s Democrat Senate hopeful.

On Monday, Mike Franken — who is 64 years old, married, and has two kids — was accused by his former campaign manager, Kimberley Strope-Boggus, in an unearthed police report, of “grabb[ing] the collar of the vest she was wearing and kissed her on her mouth” before she could “pull away” when they met for drinks at a bar in March.

Strope-Boggus described Franken as “old school” and having “1950s interactions with women,” which was “something that he has done to several other women.”

After his first campaign event on Monday, following the bombshell report, he dismissed the former campaign manager’s allegations as “baseless,” saying it “didn’t happen.” Still, when asked if the two met, he stated they “had a glass of beer.”

However, after one of Kelly’s top allies in the Arizona state legislature was charged with seven child sex crimes last year, the senator eventually called for his resignation.

“The charges against Senator Navarrete are serious and disturbing,” Kelly tweeted at the time. “The justice system must uncover all of the facts and enforce the law. It has been days now since these charges came to light, and Senator Navarrete should resign immediately.”

    The Washington Free Beacon reported:

Maricopa County police arrested Democratic state senator Tony Navarrete on Thursday, charging the Phoenix lawmaker with seven felonies stemming from alleged child molestation. Navarrete backed Kelly’s Senate campaign just one month after its launch in February 2019, earning the Democrat a spot on Kelly’s “early endorsement list.” Kelly called on Navarrete to resign via Twitter after an inquiry from the Washington Free Beacon.

The arrest could see Navarrete jailed for at least 49 years under Arizona’s mandatory minimum sentencing law. It could also spell political trouble for Kelly, who is up for reelection in 2022. GOP challenger Blake Masters highlighted the incident in a Friday tweet, accusing Democrats of “turning a blind eye to the worst actors in their midst.”

Kelly campaigned with Navarrete after touting his endorsement. In a now-deleted Facebook post, Navarrete congratulated Kelly on his November victory by sharing a post of the pair together during a 2020 Kelly campaign event.

At this time, it is unclear if Kelly will demand that Franken drop out of the senatorial race, given the accusations. It is also unclear if Kelly will ask the Hawkeye State Democrat to return the donations from the senator’s leadership PAC.

‘Send Us Back to New Jersey’: John Fetterman Incoherent Again After 5 Minute Speech

    PAUL BOIS20 Sep 2022

Democrat Pennsylvania U.S. Senate candidate John Fetterman once again appeared incoherent after giving a five-minute speech in Indiana County.

Similar to his previous mishaps, Fetterman again confused Washington D.C. with New Jersey as he concluded his speech with a call for the voters to send him to the nation’s capital.

“Eliminate the filibuster, get things done,” he struggled to say.

After an awkward pause in which he appeared slightly confused, Fetterman then said, “Send us back to New Jersey. Send me to D.C. for you.”

Several members of the audience could be heard chuckling upon hearing him utter New Jersey.

    https://twitter.com/greg_price11/st...erman-incoherent-again-after-5-minute-speech/

The speech comes after the Fetterman campaign has refused to release the results of his latest cognitive test, which has appeared to have declined following his stroke earlier this year. As Breitbart News profiled:

An article from the Inquirer explains that Fetterman’s campaign claims that the candidate for the United States Senate in Pennsylvania has taken a cognitive test, the results of which allegedly reveal that his brain is functioning normally for an adult of his age.

The Philadelphia Inquirer did not, however, receive any documentation of the results of his cognitive test. Nor did they inform the media who administered and scored the test.

The article explains that the Fetterman campaign “did not provide any documentation of the results, or make available to the media the speech therapist who administered the tests.” The cognitive assessment of the Democrat candidate comes after he suffered a stroke in May.

After dodging a debate challenge from his opponent, celebrity Dr. Mehmet Oz, for weeks, Fetterman finally agreed to debate Oz on October 25 after his poll numbers began to slip and liberal commentators warned his hiding could cost him what once appeared like assured victory.

Last week, the Fetterman campaign issued a “wake-up call” after learning that the Oz campaign has been outspending them in television ads.

“I am writing with a wake-up call,” Fetterman campaign manager Brendan McPhillips wrote. “In the last three weeks alone, Republicans have spent nearly $12 million dollars — significantly outspending us and out-communicating on the airwaves. We cannot allow this to continue unabated.”

Despicables tout their support for the "rule of law" and their support in particular of free speech. Apparently that doesn't extend to speech they don't agree with, or at least speech from someone they don't like.

    Ain't it sumpin?
The Biden administration can ship people all over the country, in the middle of the night, without telling anyone.
    And from the media? Crickets.
DeSantis and Abbott raise hell about the MILLION new ILLEGAL migrants flooding into the southern states.
    And from the media? Crickets.
So DeSantis and Abbott load up a bunch of ILLEGAL migrants and ship them into the liberal back yards; Chicago, DC, Martha's Vineyard, and now even apparently Deleware.
And from the media? TWIRLING AND SPINNING AND FOOT STAMPING!
So the politicians in these places, they ship the ILLEGAL migrants off to other places.
