Unusable

Update: the most recent update makes this app completely useless. It locks up frequently, is practically unresponsive, constantly crashes, and if you somehow do manage to get to the point of uploading your photos, the app deletes half of them, duplicates the other half, and jumbles up the order. Such a simple app should not be so buggy.

At my dealership, I previously used a physical camera and had to upload everything from the memory card to the computer, and it took hours, so my work got me a phone to use this app. This app has succeeded in making my job faster, but there are so many issues with it daily. First, there needs to be background upload. I use another app to take videos as well for my dealership and I have to wait for the photos to upload (pretty slowly) to switch to the video app. The app is always in the background so if the photos could just upload while in the background that would be great. Second, if our wifi goes out, and the phone is on data, the app completely freezes and crashes multiple times. The Wi-Fi where I’m at is pretty unreliable so this happens often. I have to keep using this since it’s my job, but I just wish it was a lot more reliable and easy to use.

App locks up constantly

Was told that the bad reviews on here were from a long time ago when they released this app, so I tried it. It’s still crap as of July 26th 2021 and probably won’t be changing if it’s been this long.

If you are thinking of doing 360, be careful because this app locks up and what should add maybe 1-2 minutes per car ruins your entire workflow when the app won’t sync, won’t connect, locks up CONSTANTLY while using the app. After taking a 360, the app will slow to a complete crawl. You need to reboot and open up the app and that’s not even a guarantee. I’ve tried to tweak setting to only upload and download on WiFi, still doesn’t help. Many other problems just overall very bad experience and out hundreds of dollars.

Great app, has major issues. (Still)

This app is very useful and removes a lot of hassle from taking dealer photos. Love the design, and is easy to use. However, the app needs some rather simple fixes that if applied, would result in a much better rating and user experience. The app still locks up constantly in the middle of photo sets. I don’t have major issues uploading, but I would love to see background uploading implemented. Also, getting signed out every week, and having to constantly sign back in is extremely frustrating, especially when I have to contact my boss every time, as he is the one on the account. The two factor authentication is totally useless and pointless for this application. The only other problem I have is with keyboard compatibility. My phone’s keyboard always glitches out while trying to type on the app. I hope you will consider these items in the next major update!

Developer Response ,

Thank you for sharing this constructive feedback which will help us improve the app. For the problem you are having with the device getting locked frequently while capturing photo sets, could you please try increasing the Auto-Lock time in the Settings of the device. We recommend you set this to 5 minutes or Never, if available. We would also like to know more about the glitches with the keyboard. Could you please reach out to our team using the Support menu item available in SnapLot and share additional details so that we can better understand this issue.
